WDC becomes the first Tier III certified data center in French-speaking Belgium.
WDC has officially obtained the Tier III Design certification, which guarantees, among other things, maximum service availability, technical robustness, and an environment that meets the highest standards of security, stability, and performance. WDC thus joins the very select group of Belgian hosting infrastructures recognized with this certification.
WDC becomes the first data center with this certification in the Walloon and Brussels regions. Among more than 40 data centers in Belgium, only 5 hold Tier III certification. This distinction strengthens WDC’s ability to offer sovereign, local, highly secure solutions that are perfectly suited to the critical needs of businesses and public organizations.
For Arnaud Spirlet, CEO of Win and Computerland:
"This Tier III certification is an additional mark of trust for our clients. It reflects the rigor of our teams and our commitment to providing a local, reliable, and cutting-edge infrastructure capable of supporting the critical needs of organizations. This certification, unique for the Walloon and Brussels regions, confirms our strong role as a close technological partner. It is a real advantage for our clients."
The Tier III Design certification was awarded by the Uptime Institute, an international benchmark organization for data center design and operations. It independently attests to the high level of reliability of the infrastructures. In particular, it guarantees that a data center can carry out all its operations without interruption, even during maintenance activities.
For Laurence Mathieu, CEO of NRB:
"In a market where digital sovereignty and cybersecurity have become essential, this certification strengthens NRB’s position. The WDC’s Tier III certification marks a major milestone in NRB’s strategy for sovereign infrastructures. This independent recognition confirms our ability to offer clients an environment that meets the highest international standards. In a context where digital continuity has become vital, this certification reinforces our role as a key player supporting the country’s digital transformation."
